Full-Time Advancement Director
Job Summary:
North Valley Christian Academy (NVCA) is seeking a strategic and personable Advancement Director to lead and grow the school’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position will play a vital role in building relationships with donors, managing giving campaigns, and developing a long-term advancement strategy that supports the continued growth of our Christ-centered school.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead a comprehensive advancement plan including annual giving, major gifts, and capital campaigns

Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners
-
Coordinate and oversee donor communications and fundraising materials in collaboration with marketing staff

Manage donor stewardship and recognition programs

Lay the foundation for a growing advancement office, including systems, processes, and future staffing

Advise the Head of School on all fundraising and development-related matters
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in fundraising, preferably in education or nonprofit organizations

Proven ability to secure major gifts and build lasting donor relationships

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for building new systems and teams

Commitment to NVCA’s Christ-centered mission (must sign NVCA's Statement of Faith)

Familiarity with donor management systems is a plus

Part-Time Lunch/Recess Monitor
Job Summary: NVCA is looking for Lunch/Recess Monitors who are responsible for supervising students during lunch and recess to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment. This role involves monitoring student behavior, enforcing school rules, and assisting with conflict resolution while fostering a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunch and recess, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior.
- Address and manage minor conflicts or behavioral issues as needed.
- Monitor playground activities, ensuring students follow safety guidelines.
- Report any incidents, concerns, or injuries to school administration.

High School History Teacher
Job Summary:
We are accepting applications for a high school History teacher for the 2025-26 School Year. Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferable in Education, with an emphasis in the area of instruction, or a related area.
- Prepare appropriate weekly lesson plans that facilitates active learning, effectively utilizing the basic elements of instruction including instructional objectives, planned activities, Biblical integration, and assessments, all while incorporating classroom technology to enhance instruction.
- Demonstrate the spiritual maturity, academic ability, and personal leadership qualities to inspire student learning, including the understanding of the knowledge and characteristics of the age group taught.
- Effectively manage classroom and discipline procedures to provide a positive Christ-centered classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Evidence of a personal Christian faith consistent with the North Valley Christian Academy Statement of Faith including being an active church member and exhibiting a close personal walk with Jesus Christ: modeling an exemplary Biblical lifestyle and evidencing maturity in the understanding and integration of sound Biblical principles in classroom.

Part-Time K-12 B.E.S.T. Coach
Job Summary: The B.E.S.T. program is seeking a full time coach to work with students with specific learning needs. The position requires applicants to support students with in-class assignments, provide accommodations based on individualized student plans, and monitor goals for learning targets. Coaches assist within the general classroom, work with small groups, and assist 1:1 with students.
- Teaching background preferred

Extended Care
Job Summary: North Valley Christian Academy is hiring for our morning and/or afternoon Extended Care program and we are looking for a highly qualified, loving, and passionate teacher in our Christian school environment. The position requires up to 25 hours per week working a fixed schedule.
Teacher Duties include:
- Ability to support our program and mission as well as state licensing guidelines
- Planning daily activities with written lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate
- Supporting families through communication and relationship building
- Working closely with current staff as part of a team
- Participate in staff meetings and other professional development training
Qualifications:
- At least 3 months of teaching experience in an early childhood setting and an associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood, child development, or a closely-related field; or 6 months experience in an early childhood setting and a high school diploma or GED; or 12 credit hours in early childhood, child development, or closely related field; or a CDA, NAC or CCP credential.

Substitute Teacher
Job Summary: An individual holding this position instructs students and facilitates student learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Essential duties and responsibilities are to:
- Support and maintain classroom policies;
- Provide classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans;
- Create a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students;
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment;
- Maintain the established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned;
- Maintain a professional appearance as an example to students;
- Remain at school the entire school day, unless otherwise instructed to leave by the principal;
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities;
- Maintain reasonable rules of conduct which encourage self-discipline and responsibility;
- Communicate effectively with parents when needed;
- Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and times designated; and
- Complete other duties as assigned.
