IMPACT
At North Valley Christian Academy, we desire our students to impact their community, their state, their country, and their world. As our world continues to shrink with global technology and communication advances, Christians must learn how to navigate and interact with people of differing backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. IMPACT gives students a transformative educational experience on a local, national, and global scale.
Purpose
The IMPACT program is designed to do exactly what it says: impact our community, our state, our country, and the world. All NVCA high school students are required to participate in an IMPACT opportunity each year. NVCA partners with several Christian organizations to provide high school students with varying opportunities in world missions. Additionally, NVCA middle school students take part in quarterly "IMPACT Days" through partnerships with local non-profit organizations. Learn more about NVCA policies and IMPACT by viewing the handbook linked below.
IMPACT Missions Week
Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, North Valley Christian Academy high school faculty and students started participating in a school-wide Missions Week.
While NVCA has enjoyed a long-lasting Christian Service program, the vision for the IMPACT program and Missions Week is to create more opportunities for unforgettable God-moments for NVCA faculty, staff, and families. We believe that pausing academic classes for an entire week to focus on service and missions can fulfill this vision and have a deep, lasting positive impact on our community both near and far.
In addition, some service experiences may occur during various times in the school year depending on the timeframe of the trip.
