Extended Care Program
The Extended Care program at NVCA is designed to support families by offering supervised care for students before and after the regular school day. This program is available to all PreK through Grade 5 students who are pre-registered.
The goal of the program is to provide a safe, enjoyable environment where students can play, complete homework, and build positive relationships. A snack is provided for each student.
Hours of Operation:

Morning Care: 7-7:45 a.m.

After Care:
Preschool/Kindergarten: 3-5:00 p.m.
Grades 1-5: 3:20-5:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no Extended Care on Early Release Days or the last day of school.
Fees:

$25 annual registration fee per student

$4 per half hour or $8 per hour

Charges are billed directly to your FACTS account
Extended Care Program Guidelines:

Registration:
Parents must complete the Extended Care Registration via Jotform (see button below) and create a Parent Account on the BrightWheel app or website. -
Required Forms:
An AZDHS Emergency Information and Immunization Record Card must be submitted prior to using the program. -
Personal Items:
Personal items such as games, toys, trading cards, and balls are not allowed in Extended Care. -
Medication:
Extended Care staff are not authorized to dispense medication under any circumstances. -
Automatic Check-In:
Any student not picked up within 15 minutes of dismissal will be automatically signed into Extended Care.
Daily Pick-Up & Late Fees:

Extended Care ends promptly at 5:00 p.m.

Students picked up after 5:00 p.m. will incur a late fee of $5 per minute.

A parent or authorized guardian must sign out their child each day. Failure to do so will result in a full-day charge.
Communication After Hours:

The front office phones are turned off at 4:00 p.m. Please use the BrightWheel app to contact Extended Care staff after that time.
