Preschool and Elementary Volunteers
At NVCA, we believe every classroom is unique and every teacher has distinct needs to help students thrive. We recognize that parental involvement plays a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. We are excited to offer many opportunities for parents to volunteer and contribute in meaningful ways that directly support our students and classroom activities.
Your time, energy, and enthusiasm make a lasting impact on our school community! Whether you can help once a week or just a few times a year, we welcome your support in the following ways:
- Guest Reading: Share your love of reading by reading books aloud to students.
- Assist with Small Groups: Help work with students in small groups to support individualized learning.
- Center Activities: Assist with hands-on learning stations and creative activities in the classroom.
- Event Organization: Help plan and coordinate school events and celebrations.
- Material Preparation: Prep materials for class activities, sometimes from home, to support classroom learning.
- Classroom Decorations: Lend a hand in decorating bulletin boards, doors, or classroom walls to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
- Copying and Organizing: Help with copying worksheets or organizing classroom supplies.
- Chaperone Field Trips: Join us on field trips to support students' learning outside the classroom.
Your time and dedication make a difference in the lives of our students and help strengthen our Christ-centered community. If you're interested in volunteering, please reach out to your child's teacher or contact the school office for more information. All volunteers must have a background check on file with the front office. Background checks are required to be renewed each school year. We appreciate your willingness to serve!
