From the Executive Director
Dear Friends of NVCA,
God continues to guide and bless the significant changes that have set the stage for an amazing future for our school. We have seen great progress and momentum as we continue to develop and create the absolute best program of education possible for our children. It is with great joy that I share the information within this Annual Report. When I look through this report and see the future for NVCA - it is no wonder that our upcoming enrollment shows incredible growth, with an increase of over 20% from last year. Three key points I want to highlight:
- Academically our students are thriving! We are extremely proud that our NVCA students test scores ranked in the top 15% in the nation when compared to other students in both public and private schools! This is remarkable! These results are a reflection of our exceptional program of education, our outstanding, professional, teaching faculty, and our partnership with our school families. I am pleased to acknowledge that 70% of our teachers hold an advanced degree.
- We have a phenomenal school community! One of the great strengths of our school is that it is comprised of parents, staff, and faculty with a shared core of faith-centered values. This past year it was exciting to see the new and ever deepening relationships that have been developed between students, parents, and staff. NVCA is a place for students and families to belong, to believe, and to become all that God has in store for them.
- As NVCA moves forward, we continue our commitment to provide an unparalleled program of education that prepares the whole child to thrive in the 21st century. With the implementation of Core Knowledge throughout our entire curriculum we continue to build an exemplary program of education. The launching of our 5-8th grade middle school program will provide a host of new opportunities for our school community- from athletics, fine arts, student government, service projects, global education partnerships, and much more.
At NVCA we believe that the development of healthy, thriving young children and adults cannot happen without Christ. The world and values neutral education presents powerful and strong challenges against biblical values and truth -- and sends conflicting messages about the inherent value and purpose in life to a young person just discovering who they are. Our goal is to build academically prepared, relationally strong, confident leaders secure in their faith, with solid life core values that will set the stage for true success in life. This is an undeniable strength of NVCA.
Thank you to each person who has given of their time, abilities, and resources to support our school. The list of names in our Annual Report is a reflection of your commitment to NVCA, and is an example of God’s love and grace working through each person. You have impacted lives forever, and you have helped build young Christian leaders truly prepared to thrive in all of life.
